Siobhan is an accredited psychotherapist, certified life-coach, experienced motivational speaker, trainer and best-selling author. She helps people to overcome overwhelm, burnout and manage the demands of their personal and professional roles; learn how to embrace self-care and how to navigate living in a chaotic world; hone their authentic leadership style so they can make a difference and thrive in their work. She supports all clients to find meaning and purpose, manage life transitions; navigate complex personal and professional change and build their resilience and resourcefulness so they can achieve their full potential.
After a career change from Music Industry to Not-For-Profit leading into Corporate Management, Siobhan returned to third level education to study Counselling and Psychotherapy and spent the last nine years working as a psychotherapist in both clinical and teaching roles, in private and public mental health services and colleges. Her specialism in workplace mental health has had her developing and leading her services to support people who are recovering from overwhelm, excessive stress and burnout, and have lost sight of themselves and what is important to them in the process.
Siobhan also educates employers in how best to support their staff and colleagues’ who may be experiencing burnout. In 2018 Siobhan was commissioned as an expert on burnout and stress to work on a two-part science based documentary, STRESSED, which aired on Irish television to critical acclaim. January 2019 saw Siobhan’s first book, ‘The Burnout Solution, 12 weeks to a calmer you’, Gill Publications, being published and reach best seller status. Siobhan now works as a Resilience and Burnout Recovery Coach, Keynote Speaker, Trainer and facilitator of her signature online course, The Burnout Solution Academy. Her clients range from senior executives; middle managers and emerging leaders; to healthcare professionals in public and private sectors, teachers and parents.
