Learn more about Kitty:
Passionate about movement from an early age, Kitty commenced training as a Ballet dancer at five years old. Attending ballet schools in Dublin and Bangor she then won a scholarship at sixteen to the prestigious Bird college in Kent where she completed a diploma in dance and musical theatre.
She then returned to Ireland to teach dance and run summer schools for children while continuing her training as a personal trainer and fitness instructor at the National Training Centre in Dublin. Constantly pushing her body to the limit, Kitty realised she needed to broaden her studies to embark on a more therapeutic and holistic practice.
Beginning by studying and teaching Pilates, Kitty found herself drawn to the world of Yoga, undertaking her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Samadhi in Dublin. She has since attended workshops in India, Bali, New York and the UK. Kitty’s classes are of a slow flow nature with a focus on technique, calming and slowing down the nervous system. She encourages individuality, expression and personal growth through a dynamic practice in a light and uplifting environment.
Kitty’s thirst for knowledge continued this year as she delved deeper into her Yin Yoga training with Biff Mothifer… Embracing the yin yoga path.
