To celebrate all the brains behind our Thrive Festival brands we wanted to delve deeper into the beginnings behind each one! Today we chat to Sharon, founder of Peachy Lean
What is Peachy Lean’s mission statement?
Peachylean sells support and confidence in the form of Spandex and Nylon and our mission is to make every woman FEEL good in her own skin.
Where did you get the inspiration for your brand?
After leaving my local gym one afternoon I was inspired to make a difference to the millions of women in the world who do not feel comfortable in their own skin. I designed a shapewear legging that can be worn as fitness wear and the rest is history.
In your opinion, what has been the biggest innovation within your sector in the last few years?
Tech wearables, posture correction garments, that track every move you make.
What has running your own business taught you?
Determination, resilience, strength and compassion. Determination on days where everything is just going wrong or you feel blah… Resilience on days where you’ve tried every avenue and the answer is still No… Strength as a female with two young children and running a brand from your kitchen table.
What do you think is the next big thing in the world of wellness?
Ingestable technology that feeds back data on temp, water, bloods etc…
What did you and your team enjoy the most about this year’s Thrive Festival?
The people were amazing, the thrive team and all the talks.
You’ve been working from home during the COVID19 crisis. Tell us what your daily routine is like?
Two boys in lockdown under 5, team meetings and calls, along with zoom training and other business… MADNESS isn’t the word.
