Jenny Murphy of the Vibe Tribe, has given us some of her best tips for creating a brighter 2020.
The start of every year, people talk about what they are giving up for the new year, the reason a lot of new year’s resolutions don’t work is because the mind doesn’t like to experience loss or pain, it will create a safety mechanism to avoid pain and move back to the comfort of our habitual nature. I have found, it is easier to succeed with our goals, by tricking the mind, simply by adding some extra beneficial practices into your everyday life, until they stick as new positive habits.
Whether it is deciding to eat healthier by creating meal plans or by adding an exercise plan to get out more, maybe get off a stop earlier and walking home. Joining a hobby to learn something new or to meet new people, create a diary to meet up more and reconnect with old friends, whatever the change you desire, become creative in your approach.
Adding and replacing positives into your life is a more beneficial approach to change for the mind, as oppose to the feeling taking away, which causes restriction or creates anxiety. The key is supporting yourself to achieve your goals, which will lift your vibrational frequencies and create new life experiences.
The importance of movement, after a day sitting, our energy can become blocked, a 20-minute walk is not only good for energy flow, it is so good for mental health, allowing our thoughts to settle as the right and left hemispheres of the brain synchronise, walking is a balancer. Walking lifts your mood and lifts your vibrations.
To lift your personal vibrational frequencies, self-connection is a must, creating a space to connect into that stillness inside you, that we call soul. It is through the avenue of the heart that our inner connection is anchored. We can add any new spiritual practice that takes us away from our mind to find that inner place of peace. It’s within these times of inner practice that we can tune into what our soul is craving to express into our life experience.
Some spiritual practices include meditation, mindfulness, yoga practices, my preference is self Rei-Ki meditative practices, which incorporate energy healing as well as deep meditative mind, body, soul connection.
As we are energy beings, usually after a night’s sleep, as we awake, we have not yet connected to the demands of the outside world. This is a good time to connect to your deeper wiser part of you, which sometimes is blocked out by our everyday demands. Simply adding as little as 5 minutes, extra relaxing time in bed, now who wouldn’t agree to that?
Self-connection first. Be the first person you connect in with, as appose to connecting to your mobile devices and the outside world.
A very simple Morning meditative ritual, for those starting off with meditation, after waking from a good night sleep, we are coming out of the theta brain waves which are a receptive state for nice quality meditation. Anything from a 5-15 minutes meditative ritual is so beneficial.
Step 1:
Taking a deep breath, while placing your hand over your heart chakra, centre of the chest, and image you can breathe in and out of your heart and create a connection to YOU-
Steps 2:
Allow a feeling of gratitude for being awake and alive to build, you are here and present and the gift of sharing another day on this planet is yours.
Step 3:
Decide what you want to achieve today, plan for the day ahead.
Step 4:
See or imagine yourself going through your day with ease and feeling good, achieving everything with effortless flow.
Step 5:
Recognise that appreciation for YOU and all you can do and achieve allow even one minute of heart felt appreciation for yourself, this is an amazing builder for qualities of self-worth, self-confidence and self-esteem.
Step 6:
Expand those feelings of peace and love out to your family, friends and out to the world.
This lifts your vibration into receptive acceptance and flow for your day ahead. The highest vibrational states are appreciation and love; this is the level of manifesting. Try this new process and See how you can improve the quality of your life.
Create a snap shot of how you want your life to look for 2020, bringing a new plan for the decade ahead. In your moments of silence, set aside some time to write up a list of how you want to be and what you would like to be experiencing in the new decade.
Start off 2020 with creating a vision board that you can add pictures of your dreams and desires, creating images for ideas, goals, wishes, impressions and inspirations that arise through your times of inner work. While listening to our inner guidance system, we can make it fun by using the science of cosmic ordering, we send an image out in to the universe and that desire /image is supplied back to us, in to our material world, as a living experience.
I love this quote from Albert Einstein Imagination is everything; it is a preview of life’s coming attractions, taking the time out to create a new vision for your future is paramount as we start the next decade. Keeping it simple, tuning into yourself to see how you think and feel about the new reality you really want to live is the key to succeeding.
If you don’t believe you can achieve your new goals, you may need coaching to assist you fulfil your dreams. As we live a more fulfilled life, we vibrate at a frequency that creates more of what we dream and love to do. Most things are within our vibrational reach, if you really desire and love to have something, you eventually get it.
What’s important is to create your own story line where you are the lead role, vibe high and love your life. Don’t be a supporting act for someone else’s life story, by default, if you don’t have a life plan, you could end up living your life to support someone else’s dreams. What gets written down tends to get done.
