We are seeking a driven, self-motivated sales executive to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering the sales targets for our health and wellbeing event – Thrive Festival. The role involves research and developing sales leads and pipeline, spending time on the telephone making outbound calls and developing sales pitches and proposals. The role will be office based and makes extensive use of cloud based software. There may be occasional need to travel to clients alongside colleagues. It’s a sales role that’s varied and would suit someone who enjoys sales and has an interest in events and the health and fitness industry.

Sales Executive Duties and Responsibilities

• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media – build & grow lead pipeline
• Set up meetings with potential clients
• Prepare and deliver presentations & proposals for perspective clients
• Report on targets, sales, and prospects – Communicating internally to brief colleagues on opportunities and pipeline status
• Participate in events on behalf of the company
• Negotiate and close deals
• Account management of clients

Sales Executive Personality, skills and competencies

• Third Level Qualification
• Confident speaking on the telephone
• Strong commercial awareness
• High level of initiative and a good team player
• A passion for selling and relationship building
• Proven experience as a sales executive or relevant role
• Experience and / or knowledge of events a plus
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Experience with customer relationship tools a plus
